This is an update informing you of the changes made to the development of the game. I do want to say the game is still being made but I've have taken a new approach to making the game which I hope you like.
The new plan consists of many smaller games being made which will then be sold between £1-£5. These will come out overtime with no set dates but will be polished and soiled games. The code from these games will then be altered and optimize for this game. This allows for this game to still be made but I can more freedom to work on different things. These games will be set in the same world as this game.
Games so far
I am working on two smaller games at the moment one is called 'The King's Court' and the other one is called 'Kings of Ashguard'.
The King's Court is a politically based game where you are a person in a court and the player must gain as much influence as they can within a certain period of time. The player can scheme, murder, forge alliances between people etc their way to power. This game will showcase the political power within a country in but in a controlled environment in Blades of War
Kings of Ashguard is a city manger game with some unique gameplay mechanics and taking already proven mechanics from other games and improving upon them. This game will showcase the city management in Blades of War.
These two are the currently being worked on and they are quite different from one another allowing for more variety in my coding which was slowing down the process of development. Another benefit is that it allows me to try out many different ways of coding so I know what works well and don't. More details on these games will be released at a later date but they are coming on well. These games will also be supported and I hope for lots of feedback about the mechanics when they are released from the community.
