The Protectors of Etheria is a stand-alone mod of the game Warlords Battlecry 3 (i.e. it can be run without having the original game installed - 100% free full game). It is an improved RTS/RPG game with new campaigns, quests, terrain, units, items, heroes, modding features and more. Beta versions available for download!

You guys are gods. I once tried one of the Protectors' older versions but the bugs kinda disheartened me. While the original game was good and I still play it to this day, it had a lot of... well... issues. What especially strikes me are the factions! Damn it, I love the concept! I'm pretty sure that Warlords started as a Warhammer rip-off at the start of the 90s' (hell, I even kinda fixed the lore holes with Warhammer-like stuff when writing Warlords stories) and with this, it feels even more like. Looking forward to what you did with the lore because this part always felt somehow neglected...
Thanks for the kind words! Lore and the role-playing side of the game is something we intend to focus on in coming versions. We're trying to incorporate all of the series' canon into TPC, and make good use of it for multi-choice dialogue too.
