We haven't posted anything in a while, so here's a semi-random screenshot of the AI attacking the AI in a Conquest game. There is indeed something new to spot here.
Menu quick-keys expansion and healing symbols on top of troops (possible Regeneration or Cure effects).
Did I get it?
Yes - Swordsmen and Spearmen get a new ability in 0.9 which allows them to quintuple the HP regeneration rate of friendly units around them. However, the effect is immediately lost when the unit takes any form of damage.
I hate to be "that guy" but is 0.9 going to be released anytime soon? Because hearing about all of the fixes and new features in 0.9 has completely killed any interest I had in continuing to play version 0.8.9b
We don't like to give release dates unless we are really happy with the state of the update and can reliably get it out by that date. This is so we don't disappoint people when we have to inevitably delay the patch. XD.
Take 0.8.9 for example. We wanted that out in December, but it wasn't ready so we delayed it to April.... but it still wasn't ready. We somewhat folded by August and thought it's been long enough and its playable, so we released it then - which then required a few more patches to finish things off.
