This is a custom campaign made by Zeto (2014-2019) with more than 43 + 100 scenarios and 3 paths. Play with any hero you want. (To install just use version 0.8.9 and drag the folder to the CustomCampaign folder).

About this Campaign

The War of The Broken Oath is a scripted Custom Campaign made by Zeto (2014-2019) for The Protectors, a Warlords Battlecry III Mod. It tries to reply the events of this war between Elves and Dwarves. Using a desired hero, you'll soon decide where to go and how to proceed:

Human-Dwarven Path:
Gain the Human trust and solve an issue concerning daemons, orcs and an Ancient Dragon, Kelthurax. Build up a solid alliance with dwarves and Menios I, who wants to defend Dwarven homelands against King Elendor, the High Elf.

Evil Path:
Gain respect from Southern Evil forces by rescuing important characters and uniting factions under your banner. Take advantage of the War of the Broken Oath between Dwarves and Elves to fulfill Lord Datura’s dream for an invasion of East Etheria.

Elven Path:
Study the secrets of Elven Wizardly and gain their allegiance by pacifying important regions of West Etheria. Become a personal friend of King Elendor, the High Elf who watches carefully any Dwarven action against his people.

Objectives

Each path completes the missing information that one path alone cannot provide. The mystery behind the Dwarven-Human path can only be solved by finishing the other two, for instance. There are various main goals in the campaign depending on the path you took, such as please Bane or sabotage reinforcements for King Elendor, or even plan an attack on a well defended Dwarven citadel.

Besides the main campaign, totalizing 43 scenarios around the 3 paths, you have also the possibility to play additional 100 maps around Etheria, some of which are hidden, belong to an extra campaign with no heroes mode or demand unlocking by special events. There are also various World Map Dialogs that change the difficulty of your campaign, depending on choices you have done there. Some rewards are obvious (crowns, companions, bonuses, get access to other races, etc.) others will only show their effects very late in game.

Tips

More features are available for you to train your hero, in an attempt to finish your path and level up as much as you can. Attend to the Hint Menu, in the campaign menu to have more insight over detailed tips. Your Journal has written down everything you’ve done or where you should proceed, in case you become lost with such an amount of possibilities.
