Major changes
Sculpting of an 8 km² terrain that contains 64 tiles.
Environment is now composed from 3 lights : one from the stars, one from the sun and one from Jupiter. Sun and Jupiter lighting depend on the sun positions. Composition of those lights depends of the diurnal cycle.
Creation of an Unlit shader for Jupiter with the Fresnel effect in order to fake the sun shadow. The shadow’s movement is calculated from the sun position.
Creation of a progressive solar eclipse and sunrise.
R&D
Research work on the character’s hair.
New graphical work on the UI “station inventory” that will allow for the management of resources.
Improvement of the “walk” animation.
Work in the environment texture.
