The Last Days of Magic is a platformer/RPG in the metroidvania style. There is a heavy focus on exploration and combat. Combat is centered around rapidly switching between characters of different skillsets to perform combination attacks in combat and to solve puzzles during exploration. The game incorporates hand-drawn environments and characters.

Description
This is a preview for the Mage’s Icewave ability. This is her right click ability and as such, can only be used on the ground. If an minor enemy is caught in the ice they are frozen solid, while stronger foes are rooted in place. The Archivist can combine her Charge ability with those effects, and deal extra damage to targets who are frozen/rooted by slamming into them and breaking the ice.
