I'm rather torn about this one. On one hand, the dialog is witty and it's certainly a one of a kind game with an unusual concept. But on the other hand, I can't really recommend this to anyone who has neither the desire nor the need to brush up on their math skills as those who aren't fans of cranking numbers will quickly grow tired of the core gameplay. That said, I enjoyed the visuals, audio, and the overall feel of the game. Yall did a great job. I just wish you hadn't decided to go with a password based save system, that was tedius in the 90's.

Thanks for posting.

I made the stuff happening in the battle significantly louder.
(though the first enemies all have 1-3 HP, so knowing the damage total should not help that much. )

Updates are in the kongregate version of the game:
Kongregate.com
It will probably take a while to load (with no preloader), but I hope that helps.

Is it possible for you to upload the demo somewhere? Cause here on desura it's still not available. (404 Not found)
I would really like to try it :)

I guess I could give it a go, if QCPolmer is alright with that?

Sorry about that.

Try this:

Keep in mind there is no preloader, and it will probably take a while to load. (~7MB)

I have only played the demo, but I dig this. It's experimental, with pleasing graphics that don't clash like a lot of other 8-bit-stylized games. The general vibe is dark, but entertaining. I will most likely be picking up a copy. Nice work!
