A tactical space combat game with an emphasis on flotilla tactics. The game is designed to give the player a quick space-combat fix without having to play for an hour first. Five playable races, custom battle mode, five campaigns, space monsters and inter-galactic invaders round out the experience. The game plays like a real-time strategy game without the base building.

A new HD video of The Free Mercenaries has been posted to our website,

The video is short - 1:38 or so - but it is much easier on the eyes than the
video posted here. Please take a look. The file was posted as an .avi
file with DivX coding, and it plays marvelously on you-tube - especially
for users who have slower connections. Just change the resolution to 720p
in the sprocket-tool, and view.
