Cleveland, OH has been attacked in the ground wars of WWIII. Instead of guns and bullets, biological weapons now roam the streets in search of fresh blood. The virus spreads through infected water and bodily fluids, making it highly contagious. Project mercy is what they call the disease

Your story takes place in the suburbs of Cleveland. There will be three Different routes to take up north, highway 176, following the Cuyahoga River, or highway 77. The Farther you travel north, the harder and more aggressive creatures become. More roads are closed off and it is much more difficult to navigate due to cars blocking the road any other obstructions.

The premise is pretty simple. You and your fellow survivors are traveling up north to escape on your boat, hopefully locating a remote island in Lake Erie. The world will consist of 5 main areas, all with completely unique characters and story lines. While the end goal is the same, the path you take is fully up to you.

Each area of the city will come equipped with their own sets of challenges. The zoo to the west holds mutated wild animals set free by a mysterious cult. Follow the River and you might get off easy, until you hit the train yard. Lastly, taking highway 77 north will lead you straight through gang territory, leaving you to deal with rival gangs, ghouls, and mutants. The choice is up to you, but either way you have to get out.
