The results of the grand finals of the Make Something Unreal contest were announced yesterday at the DICE Summit in Las Vegas - The Ball came second! After running for over one and a half year, the contest has finally come to an end. It has been quite a ride, and we are very happy with how we have scored throughout the contest!
In other news, our trailer has now also appeared on GameTrailers. Apperantly our name is so simple that it is controversial for many, which is good for our publicty.
More and more news sites are also picking up our trailer, for example:RockPaperShotgun or the big Dutch website Gamer.nl
We have also updated our FAQ a little bit. Notable new Q&A's are "Isn't this a mod for Unreal Tournament 3?" and "I have already played the mod version, why would I need to get the full game?"
We would also like to remind people that this will not be a full priced game. We are aiming for a price somewhere around 20EUR. We don't know exactly how much yet, but definitely not 50EUR.
Last but not least, we would like to thank everybody here that has supported The Ball throughout the contest. Your support is very important to us!
Will the free version still be available?
duh...
lol.
good job
Love the trailer! Congratz on second!
You fought well! The retail will be something to behold.
Good luck!
Video bugs.
"There seems to be something wrong with the Video"
I'm form Germany.
Me too. Can't open any videos on moddb in the last days.
I'm from Germany too
Me too, but seems to work now.
You've done an amazing job, I look forward to purchasing your retail version.
Yeah, it's great looking. A whole game based on the Gravity gun from Half-Life...I'd be amazed if it somehow didn't turn out amazing.
