You are Andre Thompson, the brother of a great journalist named Brad Miller in search of horrible events, who on this occasion wants to investigate "AnDoras" (meaning the door in Escoses). AnDoras is a village believed to have been abandoned, until it became known that the people of that town were still there along with their religion. The people of AnDoras believed in a door to a new world in that village, but first they would have to sacrifice the right person to create "The spiritual key"
