The AMC Squad is an epic story-driven FPS running on the Build Engine. It combines gameplay mechanics of retro-shooters with aspects of modern titles, complete with a story-driven narrative that spans over several episodes. Each episode is a full-length campaign featuring multiple varied locations to explore and many hidden secrets and collectibles to discover. Experience an overarching story that is loosely based on the worlds and settings of other classic Build Engine games. Pick from more than 8 different character classes, each with a unique loadout of items, weapons and abilities, and fight a large selection of different enemy factions that threaten the safety of the game world.

a fan named Snowfall has created a massive usermap for the AMC TC called 'Zeta base, check it out!

It's been a long time since you've seen an update here, but the mod is far far from dead. I decided to keep development somewhat private instead of hyping things up, since when it's all said and done a released mod is more important than a dead one with frequent updates. Since the last post a relatively new mapper to the Duke scene called Micky Crisp joined the team and has contributed a massive amount of help towards the next release. We're aiming for a fall 2014 release, and barring any major issues we should be able to reach that with no problems. EP2 is jam packed with content so it'll be worth the wait.

In other news, a fan of the TC named Snowfall has made a massive usermap for the AMC TC called 'Zeta base' - you can check it out on his DA profile page here. It took me almost an hour to beat, with 10 secrets to find and a somewhat brutal opening section it'll definitely test your skills. Make sure to check around corners using the lean function, as there's a lot of tight spaces and nasty enemies lurking around.

Finally, if you're interested in some some voice acting for the TC let me know. I'm looking for people to voice several characters including the friendly AMC soldiers (both male and female) General Graves (of Duke Nukem fame) and a Mars security officer, as well as Lilith from the first episode. If you're interested send me a message or post in the comments here. thanks!

I'm male, and I'd be more than happy to lend my voice to help development!

Cool, how would you say your voice sounds? Kinda gruff, or like a scientist?
