Yes, almost a year to the day after its appearance on XBox LIVE Arcade, Shuggy is now available for PC users everywhere through Steam. The game is also available as a DRM-free standalone download from the Smudged Cat Games website. Anyone buying the DRM-free version is also entitled to a Steam code so they can play the game on Steam and take advantage of those achievements and leaderboards.
When the game launched on XBLA IncGamers gave it 9/10 and said it was “A captivating series of brain and reflex puzzles”, Gamespot gave it 8/10 and said it “Pushes the envelope with a deluge of gameplay ideas” and Eurogamer also gave it 8/10 saying it was “Vintage bouncy platforming nonsense right out of the top drawer”.
