The Adventures of Shuggy

The Adventures of Shuggy is a 2D platformer containing a variety of different levels with a leaning towards puzzles. There are over 100 levels connected through a gradually unlocking map screen ensuring there is always a variety of levels to choose from. Various different mechanics give each level a fresh spin with Shuggy travelling in time, swinging on ropes, rotating levels, turning to a zombie, shrinking, growing, flying, teleporting and more. The game takes place in an old Scottish mansion recently inherited by young Shuggy, a cartoon vampire. To clear the mansion of evil spirits he must venture through the five different areas of the mansion, The Dungeon, The Boiler Room, The Gallery, The Graveyard and The Clocktower. Progress through the mansion is punctuated by comic book cut scenes and the occassional boss encounter.

To celebrate the upcoming Steam release of The Adventures of Shuggy on Steam on the 13th Smudged Cat Games is giving away a selection of Shuggy goodies to one lucky person with 4 others receiving Steam codes for the game each day for the initial week it’s available.

In celebration of the Shuggy Steam release we've decided to run a competition during the first week. Each day (starting Wednesday) we'll be giving away Shuggy related goodies to one lucky winner consisting of a Shuggy t-shirt, bag, comic and Steam code for the game. 4 other winners will also receive a Steam code for the game.

We'll be posting a tweet on Twitter and a link on Facebook each morning along the lines of "Adventures of Shuggy now available on Steam. RT for a chance to win Shuggy goodies". Just retweet it on Twitter or share the link on Facebook and winners will be randomly drawn at the end of each day.
