World Map Preview and Amaze Berlin Award Submission news - SwapQuest

Although progress has been slow over the holidays we managed to get the first half of the World Map finished. On the image below you can see Castle Sturmwind, where the game begins, and the first three levels, the meadows, the forest, and the crystal cave. There will be a lot more to see throughout your adventure.

In addition to that, our composer Andi has been very busy revisiting all the current tracks in SwapQuest and increasing their quality through new instrumental sets and arrangements. To allow you to hear for yourself how the new tracks sound, we created a playlist on Soundcloud, which you can access by clicking on the image below. We would be very happy to get feedback, so please comment and tell us, what you think.

We are also working hard on a first demo of the game, which will be submitted to the Amaze Berlin Award in two weeks. The Amaze Berlin is a yearly game festival with many talks, presentations, game booths and indie developers. This year it will happen from April 9th to April 11th. We are hoping to be able to present our game there, which requires to be nominated for an award.
The demo version of SwapQuest will contain the first three levels (+ a little tutorial level), the world map, and the character selection screens. There will also be a new trailer for the game showing all the new additions.
