A few days ago we announced that we are about to release a demo version of the game in about a week or two. At the moment we are working pretty hard on the demo version to make sure you get to see what we worked on as soon as possible. In the following article we will give you a closer look into demo that is about to release.
Menu
The menu for now is already completely finished and will prospectively not change a lot until the final release of the alpha in a few months. Really the only thing different here is the text "Demo" under the logo instead of "Alpha 0.2".
Features
The demo will give you a quick look into the games current state and will be updated weekly with new features and bug fixes. It comes with a first version of the new A.I. and updated character models of the zombies. Also you'll be able to use various vehicles and tools. The demo will feature the new map as it currently looks and a lot of weapons we think work fine for now. There won't be much features in the demo but we need to make sure those features act like they should act. The main reason why we release the demo is because we want to show you some of the things we've been working on the last months but we also need to make sure that those things work.
We need your feedback to improve those features and make the game a better experience.
