I have put some ambient sounds in the game which are different during the day and night for creating different moods.
There are some 3D sounds too, like gunshot, sounds for die or groans for the zombies to indicate to the player when they see your survivors.
The day and night cycle will used to limit action for the player during night. Like build fence or other stuff.
