Superstatic is a top-down shooter where you're given the ability to possess and control your enemies. Using "copies", you're able to perform a variety of skills including killing enemies within a certain radius, chaining kills together based on your current combo, teleporting to your copy's position and more.

One of the main story-telling devices we use in Superstatic is the meaningful choices you'll make throughout the game. We've recently finished the first choice: the events of Chapter 3 (currently the second chapter in the demo) will affect the events of Chapters 5 and 6.

One of the main story-telling devices we use in Superstatic is the meaningful choices you'll make throughout the game. We've recently finished the first choice: the events of Chapter 3 (currently the second chapter in the demo) will affect the events of Chapters 5 and 6.

If you choose not to kill Jacob in Chapter 3, he'll come back in Chapter 5 (along with two of his gang members) and provide support in the next chapter. You'll see a scene like this (still a work in progress):

However if you do decide to kill Jacob all the way back in the third chapter, you will find two detectives in place of Jacob and his two gang members. You'll see something like this:
