Ah this one, I've downloaded the previous demo

Yes this version is updated :)
I've tried this game and for some reason it's not displayed properly. In previous version, it's in proper full screen but in this version, it's in full screen yet the game screen is not even half of full screen
And, to the right of 'game screen' the background is fully drawn allowing me to see what's ahead (no enemies though). Worse, at burning grounds, there's wide yellow box which covers the lower part of screen. I can't see anything thanks to that and forced to stop there :(
Well, bad things aside, the difficulty is toned down a lot compared to previous version and there's a map now :)
My suggestions:
1. Increase jumping height. It would be better if player only need single jump to jump over landmines
2. Fix those bugs
3. Save the control setting after player set his/her own setting
