StarFire was created with the intention to provide a tool to explore the depths of the universe and its secrets in a playful, educational, and thought-provoking manner. In order to do so, the player must design his spacecraft in such way it fits his individual needs and play style, and most importantly, withstands the dangers that linger in the dark. As such, StarFire implements models based on science, and may also cross the border between reality and the paranormal.

This draft screen here is actually working (except that the only working button is the Exit one :D).
The concept beneath this screen is quite different from what I've used before. This screen is initialized from a module that is running on a shell. Using that shell, I can load different game modules onto the game using the same display and game settings. Such a game module for example is the main screen, the game itself, the ship editor, or any other editor that will follow.
