Great! Looks really high detailed- but I'm assuming it isn't spherical, only from this angle?
Thank you! No, it isn't spherical. After a lot of thought I decided that the best way to go for game play are is using disk worlds. You can read more about it in the news.
I actually like the idea- it's unique and fits the game's style well! :)
Would've been nice to handle those disks like sprites (so that they always face you and you never see me from the side) but that would surely be very complicated for multiplayer.
Anyway, how about hemispheres instead of just disks? That would give em a bit more depth (for mining and underground bases) and also makes em look nicer from the side.
