Star Blitz X is a 3d first person shooter that’s homage of the 1980's and 1990's arcade light shooter genre like Duck Hunt, Time Crisis and House of The Dead. The premise is to protect the earth for one minute by using a defense tactic to position, point and shoot asteroids, missiles and laser-shape objects that are launched by the Gargon's space invasion. Failure is not an option for every ten hit from the asteroids or missiles on the Earth and it's game over.

We apologize for the lack of news or update this week. But, we did hit a milestone of finally creating the ideal ring of asteroids that is surrounding the Earth for dramatic appeal.

At the moment we are now adjusting the shading and light of the level and movement range within the asteroid belt scene.

Update and Fix

  • We updated the asteroid belt that is animated in the background.
  • Include the scanlines shader for the bonus round for retro aesthetics.
  • Lighten the asteroid texture for visible.
  • Re-adjust the size of the asteroid belt.
