Sportball Manager is a sports simulation game with strategy and RPG elements, based entirely on a made-up sport. Set in the year 2200, you take the reins of a professional sportball franchise. Start with a roster of cast-offs, has-beens, and will-always-be-crappies, and work your way back to respectability by signing, trading, and developing players. As you progress, you’ll unlock new offensive strategies that may better fit your team, more regions to draft amateur players, and a myriad of abilities for both your franchise and the players on the team. Your goal is simple, but difficult: make it to the playoffs, and win the championship. Just don’t wait too long. Each year you miss the playoffs, your grace period gets shorter and you’re that much closer to being fired. Can you build a contender? And how long can you stay on top, once you do? There’s only one way to find out.
