SpaceEngine 0.9.7.1 was released on December 25, 2013.

- Added Czech, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Swedish and Turkish localizations
- Installer for SpaceEngine distribution with automatic selection of localization

can you explain (in your words) what exactly Space Engine is and what it will be in the future?
For now, SpaceEngine is an (almost) infinite procedural universe generator, based on real astronomical and physical laws. It also have real objects in regions close to Earth. Each of 10^12 galaxies in SE have billions of stars, each have planets and moons, each can be visited for watching 3D landscapes. What is planned for future, is shortly explained here:
