Merge block has been added in Space Engineers; it allows you to permanently merge ships and stations of the same block size and in proper alignment. When a ship is merged with a station, ship becomes the station. Stations can be now converted to ships, but the blocks which are partially inside asteroids will get damaged or destroyed.
We also added a "news box" on the main menu screen, where you can get notified of anything that is new in the game and we have redesigned and upgraded our multi-player code; this results in a more stable multi-player with less lag.

I wish, they could add some enemies like in dead space...
maybe at some point they'll add in a type of "pirate" or "raider" as an option like they do with generated ships, only these ones seek you out.
Maybe something along the lines of a tiny "drone" something like a small square or circle with a machine gun or two
damn! that would be awesome! Space pirates, hostile drones, aliens, damn!
now it needs more weapons like a melee, lazer pistol etc
