Sophia and the girl in the past is a 3d action adventure where you can control two characters, who both live in the same house but 30 years apart. Sophia and Pearl can communicate using a walkie talkie. This allows them to use the butterfly effect in their advantage by changing the past in order to obtain certain results in the present.

Some more concept art, this time for the home office, we have concepts for both the past and present. Also, we have one more simple mechanic ready and that is the inspect.

For the office we even tried some different angles to see which one we like the most, since on the game you can only see from one angle. The office area allows for lots of a contrasting feature to be seen between the years. Not only did technology evolved immensely but also the whole idea of working from home.

Also remember the very first concept we showed for the living room of the past. We now also have the concepts from the living room and kitchen of the present. Lots of contrast here from the technologies to the house structure that on the present house has an open kitchen going smoothly into the living room.

One mechanic we worked on last week was the inspect. This mechanic allows the player to see a close-up version of an object and if necessary, rotate it to see more details. This mechanic is essential for our game since the isometric view doesn’t allow to see small details or even read text.
