For those keeping up with the Sonic: TFH profile here on Moddb will know that in these last three weeks or so I have been ramping up to a new demo release for the Sonic Amateur Games Expo. SAGE (as it's abbreviated to) is a digital, online-exclusive event I took part in creating 8 years ago. I relinquished control 5 years ago, but the Sonic fangame community has kept it running in my stead and this year's show looks to be probably one of the best in the history of the event, with tons of live chats with people in the game industry, live streaming concerts, and more.
Once upon a time, TFH was a big deal to the Sonic fangame community, and with the game's recent resurgence in development activity, a lot of questions started arising regarding TFH's presence at this year's SAGE. So, three weeks ago, I decided to do a SAGE-exclusive demo level. I was working feverishly right up to the wire, but at around 8am this morning, I managed to get the demo ready. It's not quite what I had wanted to do, and I'm not super pleased with the end result, but at least I got it done on time.
So there you go. Not only is it on my Moddb profile, but you can download it by accessing my digital "booth" from Sagexpo.org - if you like the game, swing by Sagexpo.org anyway and hit up the booths page to give Sonic: The Fated Hour a thumbs up. There's a ton more games at SAGE this year, too, if you're really, really in to Sonic games. There's too many great games to mention, but if I had to pick two, check out Sonic: Mecha Madness and Sonic Nexus.

Played your demo, thought it was excellent, and quite original for a sonic fan game ;)
Also checked out the SAGE08 expo page, have to say that there is some really cool and amazing stuff over there. Highly recommend it.

Mine gets stuck, when Amy says 'Hey! Welcome... Amy Rose.' it just doesnt do anything after that, is there a special button im meant to press?
Shift, Z, X and C are the primary buttons you use in addition to the dpad. Amy describes the rest of the controls if you let her.
Must be a bug then, I have to press Z so she continues to talk.

Cool game,
but a litle more enemies on stage wont be bad, and some danger places 2. (you know spikes or dead falls)
But very interesting to have to chose a skill package and evolute it.

Looks and plays really well. Thumbs up to whoever's doing music for this (although it could be actual Sega music and I wouldn't be any bit the wiser); it sounds really nice.
