Sonic Lost Adventure is a 3D Sonic fan game created in 4 months entirely by myself using Xaklse's Sonic GDK engine in UDK. The game is modeled after the gameplay and level design of the modern Sonic games--Sonic Unleashed (Day stages), Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations--and seeks to bring you a similar experience.

So I've been sitting back and watching game play videos and reading feedback regarding SLA for awhile now and I know what the game needs to be better than it already currently is. The bugs desperately need to get sorted out and I need to implement a better way to teach players how to play the game. Apparantly no one reads the manual labeled "HOW TO PLAY READ ME DAMN IT" included in every .rar bundle thats downloaded by you guys so I need a new method. The next release of SLA will include a tutorial level designed with the intention of telling you what buttons do what and how SLA is intended to be played. Hopefully this will make it easier for people to jump right into the actual game and have the potential to play out Havok Harbor to the fullest of your ability and have a better time than just getting thrown in blind. Of course it will be optional so if you want to jump right in with no idea as to what you are doing, you can go ahead and do that.
The bugs absolutely will be ironed out in the next release as that is the single biggest problem with the game right now. I've seen far too many videos of people not even being able to finish the level due to the amount of bugs that can happen, and thats just unacceptable.
I am also hoping to get some original music done for the game as well, but its not a high priority with this release. If I am able to get some original music in, I'm planning on having an interactive music engine put in with it. What that basically will do is change the music as the level progresses to really amp up the player experience.
This update won't be available for a while though, so theres still some waiting to do. I'm planning on releasing v1.1 at this years SAGExpo Act 2 which starts on Aug 3rd which is about a month and a half away. I hope you guys will check it out and be pleased with the update when it comes out.
Thanks for playing SLA if you have and if you haven't please give it a try, I've worked rather hard on it and I hope you enjoy it!

Thats all for now, I'll be posting news if I have anything big to share.
