Welcome to Solitude's 23rd update, the only indie game that's platform focus is the PSP.
We've got tons to go threw this this update, lets get started by introducing Flaming Ice's latest team members. Our first new member is Gravitoni, a very experienced overall artist, his job will be creating awesome concept art. You'll be able to have a look at some of his work later on this update.
Our second new member is Nick ''nickt'' Turnbull, a professional Canadian music composer. He's created a prototype song for Solitude hoping to capture a ''mysterious atmosphere'' for this piece. Again, his work will be shown later on this update, lets move on to the models of the week.

''...have completed a draft of a prototype song for the game. I’ve decided to create a mysterious atmosphere for the piece. Like in Halo music, I’ve made choral work the foundation for the piece. I’ve added a young boy’s solo to expand on the eerie and mysterious atmosphere of the piece as well as vocal whispers. I’ve written a simple melody that can be strategically used as the running theme of the game and will automatically associate the public with the game.''

Awesome update! I love the music! It is amazing! The concept art is also amazing! This is looking great! I think the models look really really good as well! You guys do a good job at making your models as close to the original models with the lowest polygons possible!
Awesome! And great song concept. Maybe the whispering at the start could be toned down a bit and it'd be perfect. Has Nickt played a Myst game?

Q1 runs on my Wii, so maybe the .pak files from this would do as well?

when the beta comes out and we download it we will extract it and will there be an eboot? because in the games that i downloaded for the psp off this site theres an applacation in it and it says to download on psp u must download dukenukem3d psp port. when we download solitude will there be like id1,eboot,and quake in the beta game folder?
great, great, and, uh...could use some work...
the music is my only problem here:
-too instrumental.
-sounds...christmasy?
-not epic enough.
-more drums.
-too loud. it needs to tone down on the...everything.
-far too complex.
but as far as MUSIC goes, it was a good song. but i dont think it was exactly halo style.

When the beta comes out the only thing you'll have to do is copy it to your PSP ;)
i lost hope in this game.its been 33 days for the delay.i meen come on who cares what we want to see in the update just show us the new models of characters guns and the multiplayer modes and maybe an overview of the game and tell us about baker.i not tring to be mean im just pointing it out.
Pointing... What out? Some things are not worth mentioning in updates, sometimes we can't work on the game (come on, we have real lifes!) and Baker will contact us once he has time again. You can't seriously be saying you lost hope in the game because there hasn't been any updates recently?
How could you lose hope? Just because it's been a month since the last update doesn't mean that they stopped working on it. It could be that they haven't come up with anything spectacular to show us, or they are almost to a breakthrough and are waiting to finish that before they update, or the all-dreaded real-life attacked and they haven't gotten anything done yet. Just give it some time.

I think the whispering in the music should be a lot louder, I can barely hear it, it sounds really good. I think it should be played throughout the whole song in the background.
Now seriously whats wrong with the project? Its been over three months since last update so tell us if there really is something wrong. Then i'll stop whining
