Valchion is a action RPG with retro graphics and simple mechanics. It features bright, GameBoy Color-styled visuals, and a (hopefully) memorable soundtrack. It should be released for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It's also being made with the Blender Game Engine, which features fast game creation and no time spent exporting to an external engine.

Description
Doing a point light styled effect via a spot light positioned over the player. Note that I actually changed the flashlight to a spotlight to have this effect in the game. It makes me pretty excited to have some indoor and dark areas. Note that this picture is pretty old; you can see the effect more accurately portrayed on the 14th devlog video for Valchion here: Youtube.com.
