Valchion is a action RPG with retro graphics and simple mechanics. It features bright, GameBoy Color-styled visuals, and a (hopefully) memorable soundtrack. It should be released for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It's also being made with the Blender Game Engine, which features fast game creation and no time spent exporting to an external engine.

No, not really. The bullets are now actual projectiles so that you can actually dodge them. Sadly, they no longer look like erasers like this picture suggests. I might keep the instant raycast bullets from before in as a part of some kind of "hard-core mode", though.
I guess getting hit by a fast flying rubber would also hurt like hell, but bullets are better at these kind of things.
