Snorms v2.0 (PC/Mac) & Alien Blitz (Android) are now on Desura news

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to announce the immediate availability of Alien Blitz (Android, full version) & Snorms 2.0 (PC).

Snorms is a top-view & isometric shooter with lots of weapons, maps and monsters. You play a soldier resting on his native island, but it is quickly overrun by monsters from outer space and no outside help is available. You put on your armor, take your shotgun and go to find out what happened at the peril of your life.

Alien Blitz is a port of Snorms on Android (top-view only), it is available for free for all Desura users that purchased Snorms.

Android (Alien Blitz)

Snorms has been ported to Android, it has all the same features as the PC version, except it is limited to the top-view for now (for performance reasons).

If you have bought the PC version on Desura, you will get the full Android version for free! (click the connect button on the game page)

Top view

A top-view is now available, for low end PC or if you have trouble controlling the character with isometric view. It looks almost exactly the same as the Android version.

Gamepad/controller support

Snorms can now be played with a gamepad if you want to, you can forget mouse & keyboard, and play the whole game with your gamepad!

Achievements

100+ achievements have been added to the game, those includes: speedrunning, finding game references/secrets, getting 100% completion,...

New demo

The demo version has been updated, it now features the whole episode 1 instead of just one level. With 6 weapons, 13 maps, and lots of monsters!

Misc

New UI, new graphical engine, new end-of-level screen, new difficulty settings, easier gameplay, reviewed maps, new player sprite, performance improvements,....

Old snorms version

Compatibility with previous version save files has been kept, but due to balance changes it is best to remove old save files ($HOME/.config/snorms under linux, &#xUS;ERPROFILE%\.snorms under Windows)
