So what is Smash Dungeon?
It can best be described as the love child of Gauntlet, Smash TV and Binding of Isaac. It has the dungeon theme setting and combat of Gauntlet. The closed in combat arena with many enemies to kill and power ups to use like Smash TV and random procedurally generated dungeons, secret rooms passive items giving it great replay value like Binding of Isaac but with the added benefit that you can play local co-op (same PC) with a friend.
