Silent Station is an indie 2D science fiction horror game in which the player must explore a derelict space station, learn clues as to its fate, and escape back to their ship. Hindering the player in their attempt to uncover the mysteries of the station are several shadowy enemies that will stalk and give chase to the player. Ammo is scarce, so the player must make crucial fight or flight decisions as they are constantly hounded by a relentless enemy presence. The layout of the space station is randomly generated, so every play experience will be unique. Uncover the map as you explore new areas of the station, and take note of important areas that you may have to access later. Get in. Get out. Try not to die.

A new alpha build of Silent Station: Screaming in a Vacuum is available for play at www.stingyhatgames.com!

Based on the player feedback that I've received thus far, I've added a map system to the game. This prevents players from accidentally running in circles, and aids them in getting back to rooms that they have already traveled to.

As cool as having a map is, the most exciting change in this week's build is the addition of brand new player artwork by a real live artist! This artist has been contracted to redo all of the character art in the game, and I'll be replacing those assets as he completes his work.

So get out there and start playing! As always, send me your feedback and I'll consider incorporating it into the game.
