Signs of Life is a 2D sci-fi platformer game set in a sandbox. It is designed from the ground up to support drop in/drop out online co-op. Explore procedurally generated worlds full of meaningful handcrafted and procedurally generated content and a wide variety of creatures, some of which don't even want to kill you and eat your corpse. You’ll hunt monsters, gather resources, craft weapons, armor and gadgets, cook the innards of the various creatures you encounter and if you have some time left over maybe you can try and save humanity.

Post news Report RSS Some new cool gifs, and a special event!

We've been super super busy getting the game ready for a public release, but we figured we should drop by and show you guys a little bit of what we've been working on.

Some of the feedback from testers was that it was hard to place torches when it was dark, so we made it so the torches light up the area while you're dragging them around looking for a good spot to stick them:

We recently significantly re-worked the animation system to add some new bones, here an up to date gif of the player's run cycle:

This might be subtle, but we recently lengthened swords a bit due to some feedback we got from testers, here is what it looks like now when you stab sheep:

And finally, we're going to be participating in an event this weekend! We'll be participating in The Indie Showcase!

The show starts at 7pm EST and our slot is 4:30am. Be there or you're basically garbage!

Looking at that brown sword, I thought of a baseball bat.

If at all possible, please add a baseball bat. I want to bash skulls of animals with it.

...and knock grenades or items far away by hitting them with the baseball bat.
