Signs of Life is a 2D sci-fi platformer game set in a sandbox. It is designed from the ground up to support drop in/drop out online co-op. Explore procedurally generated worlds full of meaningful handcrafted and procedurally generated content and a wide variety of creatures, some of which don't even want to kill you and eat your corpse. You’ll hunt monsters, gather resources, craft weapons, armor and gadgets, cook the innards of the various creatures you encounter and if you have some time left over maybe you can try and save humanity.

hey, like i said in the update before i got the feeling that you guys attach particular importance to the aspect of immersion. other developers neglecting this part of game experience...

sound and looks pretty good ;)

edit: have you improved the animations in any way? they are looking better, somehow? ;)

Yeah, we do feel very strongly about immersion I'm glad that is coming across =) We are constantly improving the animations, yes, one of the big benefits of doing rigged characters is that we can iteratively improve on different animations without having to go back and re-animate every piece of equipment or whatever.
