In the year 2073 those who break the law or are homeless are arrested and re-purposed. They are lobotomized by Biotech Systems and transformed into the robots to do everything for everyone else; as soldiers, housekeepers, sexual companions, and any other job nobody wants. Biotech Systems also sponsors the largest televised game show of all time watched by 1 billion people every day.
You were arrested for protesting against the mandatory increase of working hours from 100 to 150 per week. You have two choices now: Get re-purposed or enter the game and try to win your freedom.
You are now in the audition phase... if you succeed you will get participate in the live broadcast and gain your freedom.
All you have to do now is survive.
