Shodou is a sidescrolling beat 'em up based on Japanese folk lore. The game will focus on a customizable combo system influenced by Japanese elemental philosophy, combined with colorful, and gory, visuals.

Demonstration of some of the game's elemental based combos. Different elements mean different kinds of combos (Wind is fast, fire is medium speed and earth is slow). This image also contains an animation for a luncher attack (the throws enemies into the air).
