Hey guys, Nyar here! I just wanted to update you guys on what's currently happening with Shi No Mori.
Honestly, things have been kinda slow at the moment, you may have noticed since the updates have been few because not much work has actually been done on the game. This is due to my university work, I have 3 huuuge projects which need to be complete by spring and it's not looking good so I have had to sacrifice some Shi No Mori work time to my uni assignments.
I've also been working on game development tutorials for all of you new game designers, they can be found here. There aren't many at the moment but there will be, all I ask is for a fixed fee per video to support my well-being since money is short for me at the moment.
Anyway, enough bad things! Let's start looking at the good things;
Where's the trailer?
Yes I did say I am making a trailer, and it's still here! I just need a little bit of spare time to work on it, but that spare time is hard to come by at the moment. But don't worry, it should be completed soon!
What are you doing now?
I am implementing barriers to the edge of the map so the player doesn't fall off the level, a lot of testers have been doing that so I'm currently fixing that. I've done a lot of fixing and I have the testers to thank for that.
Ah yes, I have to write endless reports and endure two units of intense level design work ;A; somebody bring me some coffee! If you want to be updated on my progress on those assignments, follow me on twitter!!!
