Hey! As I said in my last update, I switched to Unity for the development of Shadows. The fact that I don't have to write my own engine and stuff, really saves time and allows the game to progress faster. So far, my experience with Unity for PSM has been good (although, I didn't have a in-game capturing system so I have to record videos in the editor). The game has been coming along well, and without the limits of traditional PSM, I can make things even better than they were in the original version. Now that I can use lights, the original town model has been scrapped because the normals were messed up which caused incorrect lighting. I will now be creating the levels myself. (haven't received any more mail from the creator) Anyways, I've created some cool stuff for the game with Unity so far. The player can move, crouch, jump, slide, climb (right now, you teleport above the surface. will be adding an animation later along with a model), wall jump, climb poles/pipes and use the grappling hook to swing around, push, or pull objects. I originally had wallrunning setup, but decided to approach it a different way (I would like it to feel something like in this demo) so I will be uploading a separate video after I'm finished. Here's a video to show you what I've been working on so far. I had to record it in the editor due to the fact that I haven't implemented an in game capture system and haven't made it to the store to purchase a new camera yet, so I'm kind of failing, haha. I have the editor's game window resolution set to 960x544, which is the resolution of the Vita, so it looks like it does in the editor on the Vita, but just on a smaller screen.
I like that music. xD Next up on the list is finishing the wallrunning system, and uploading a video of that here as well as work on the new level. That little slim capsule you see in the video is actually an enemy, just without the model. Although, it's AI is disabled due to the fact that the scripts are not finished and it is nowhere near ready to show. I would like the enemy to be able to climb up objects, and do most of the stuff the player can do. So I'll start researching some advanced AI techniques. Getting a simple player model as well as some simple animations is also on the list. I just didn't want to keep you guys waiting until all those were done. Your support means a lot to me and I really appreciate all the support I have been receiving. Thanks for everything, and thanks for taking time to read this. See ya on the flip side! (I guess, just wanted to say that) lol

Nice work! Cant wait to see more updates
Thanks! :D I can't wait to show you guys! XD
unity won't support vita in a while
Hey, where did you hear that? I never heard anything about not supporting the Vita. They said they will be allowing publishing of Unity for PSM games soon.
Are those shadows realtime or baked?
Realtime on the editor. I have had some issues on the Vita with shadows that hopefully will be fixed in the next update.
