Don't be fooled by the trailer with all those camera close-ups, it's doesn't have that much action, You have 3 guys, sam and 2 his friends, you have like 5 seconds to shoot something then you have to pick what to do next for every single character attack again, change weapon or use skills. It's something between FF and SS but as this game shows FF+SS=FFS:

-This game is unplayable boring - you ever thought that serious sam game could be boring AF? No? Here you go. Somebody thought it would be fun to breed action and turn-base but its sucks so much, it takes like 80% of the time to pick what to do and 20% of the time you see any action + with most weapons you use shoot instantly and then you try to dodge stuff but this level design don't let you understand where the projectile going + you have 3 characters so you can't dodge all the stuff even if you want,
-This game so hard to beat, that with the addition of how boring it makes you want to kill yourself when you die from the huge wave of random crаp because you have to play this level all over again. Wow, such a nice game, so you don't want to waste your time on it, isn't it nice?
-it has no steam achievements or steam cards
So, in conclusion, there is no any reason to buy this sh`tty game other than to fill your library with 1 more Serious Sam game if you want to collect them all. Otherwise, i highly recommend not to buy this crap.

It's interesting until the novelty wears off.
Das einzige, was auf den ersten Blick sehr motivierend wirkt, ist das Kampfsystem. Das habe ich so noch nicht gesehen und macht am Anfang auch viel Spaß. Leider ruht sich das Spiel komplett darauf aus: Irgendwelche Karten erkunden die an Overworld-Karten von frühen RPGs erinnern, und Zufallskämpfe überstehen. Zwischendrin gibts humorische Dialoge im Serious Sam-Stil und Obermotz-Duelle.
Das Spiel hätte soviel Raum für Verbesserung zur Verfügung, die mit minimalem Aufwand den Spielspaß weiter erhöht hätten. Trotz dem Einfluss von RPG-Elementen gibt es z.B. kein Erfahrungspunktesystem und dementsprechend auch kein LevelUp. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist spätestens ab dem dritten von neun Dungeons viel zu knackig ausgefallen. Ein kleines Geld-/Shop-System hätte, auch wenn es strenggenommen nicht zu Serious Sam passt, für die Motivation Wunder gewirkt. OK, wenigstens gibt es sehr mächtige Items zu finden, ohne die man später fast unmöglich weiterkommt.
Alles in allem... Nah. Tut mir leid, mir persönlich gefällt das Spiel nicht wirklich... Der erste "Ooh"-Effekt beim Kampfsystem verliegt leider recht schnell. Für Zwischendurch noch ganz spaßig, aber Langzeitspaß... Nah...
