Now that we got both Models ready to add we need your opinnion about how to keep things balanced. We thought of the DropZone receiving a MoneyCrate each 1-2 Minutes that gives 900/1800 Credits while the InternetCenter would be equipped with 3 AI Hackers that gain 5 Credits per Second which would finally be equal to the USA DropZone. The Hackers might be killed by USA to decrease chinese Cashflow but China Players could gain Money on their own when buying a Hacker. The DropZone is also effected by the SupplyLines Upgrades which adds 10%.
So what do you guys think about it? This is your chance to let your ideas become true in this mod. We need your opinnion about this to keep things balanced.
well say you have 8 hackers and they make 40 a sec then you would be making 2400 a minute... once they level up china would be making alot...
so i feel the us drop zone should mabye get 2500-5000 every couple of mins to be even half balanced
remember that it's not meant that china can buy more AI Hackers they'll always have a max of 3 AI Hackers that respawn after probably 1 minute when killed + some Player Controlled
Maybe make Internet Center give a bonus for money earning (or not allow hackers to hack outside of it, which would go against the overall game), but remember that there can only be one Internet center, and plenty of Drop Zones.
That's a good Point but we plan to have the DropZone also limited to 1 since it's the same type of building
Looking at the original Generals and Zero Hour, china stuf was cheaper, but also worse. The balence was allowing china to build more stuf than the USA, so they could overwhelm them. As this is an FPS not RTS a first question would be: how do you want your balance?
If the idea would be to make the units compareable, then a compareable economy would also be the way to go.
Well we won't the whole game's balance here. It's only comparison of dropzone and internet centre which give additional money.
