Been a while since we had an external shot of Insolent's Splattering Ram. He seems to have updated it for the new lighting engine, and it looks excellent!
Cheers,

Why thank you! :D You know, looking at it now, I think the rear lateral shields need to be a bit broader. There's not a ton of coverage there. I'll update that later.
Also, I'm wondering if I should smooth out all the right angles with slopes, or leave it as is. What do you think?
In my opinion, her right angles give her a nostalgic look. I rather like that : )
Plus, I want to see more work on the QMA. I look forward to wandering twisty interior passages!
Cheers,
-Dirk
Dirkson: Yeah, I think I'll keep her at right angles. I designed her to be thick enough at all points, even without slopes. This'll keep the weight down, and preserve that classic blocky look that never goes out of style. :)
Yeah, I want to get into designing the QMA's guts, believe me! Before I do that, though, I need to install the inner layers of hull. First I need to decide what they'll be, and then dive into the massive time sink that will be essentially *rebuilding* the QMA, at least twice. :( THEN I can start putting in her decks.
