The white dotted line is the path I took testing out my new player/ship collision detection. I bounced off in a couple of places, skidded along the ship's hull, then bashed into the engines. Either that or I'm a character from "Family Circus".

A clever bit about it is that the ship could be going any speed - I've done collision tests where the ship was travelling at 10,000MPH without any ill effects.

A handful of minor tasks are left to do before the 0.22 multiplayer release!

Cheers,
-Dirk

Awesome stuff! Glad to hear the collision detection works at any speed, because player ships will be zipping across solar systems pretty crazy fast at times.

Very much looking forward to the new release.

Consider that the planet you're on is currently whizzing around the sun at 17,650 mph. My 10,000 mph test was actually a little underpowered!
