Why would you make an incendiary hunting pistol? You'd want something that leaves little impact but can take out whatever you're shooting at, so none of the stuff you might want gets damaged. This just burns the hide and flesh! D:

Good question.

Because most forms of xenofauna and many abominations are vulnerable to plasma burns. It isn't intended for hunting food but killing dangerous predators.

Hunting in the Scaffold 22 universe has a very different connotation, as most people live on hab-platforms and don't want bothersome xenofauna nibbling on power leads or murderous abominations interrupting their sleep - or shopping.

Description

The galaxy's premier (and only) manufacturer of cylindrical coil and railarms, Meyer-Fraulicher is wholeheartedly dedicated to providing its customers with quality, high powered weapons systems for personal defense. The company is known for its association with the 'space cowboy' stereotype and is favored by mercenaries, bounty hunters, and other enforces who require a hard-hitting tool to get the job done - swiftly, and with style.

Displayed top to bottom, are:

- MF-R2 cylinder-based hand cannon
- MF-RHL incendiary hunting pistol
- MF-G6 revolving canister rifle

Meyer-Fraulicher systems are notable for their consistent use of a semi-automatic cyclic mechanism and low ammo consumption. Their coilarms hit hard and are extremely precise, but are not intended for protracted engagements. MF-G6 based canister rifles on the other hand are intended for area denial and crowd suppression, ideally paired with a hard-hitting or rapid-firing sidearm to finish off weakened foes.
