WHAT A MISFORTUNE DOC JACK

Jack did it, he finally realized his dream of becoming a researcher, but something sadly went wrong... It seems that this will be his first and last research... Unless... Can you help him? It will be a very challenging journey!

GAMEPLAY

The main objective is to reach the top of the volcano as fast as possible, to do so the player can use some advanced platformer mechanics such as wall jump and ledge grab.

Mechanics

There are also dangers along the way such as: lava, spikes, hot geysers and more.

Traps

And as if this were not enough, oxygen is scarce due to the eruption

Oxygen Bar

But don't worry, scattered along the level you can find emergency oxygen tanks that allow you to catch your breath

Breath

Moreover Jack, thanks to his genius, has invented potions that allow to freeze the lava for a few moments. These can be found inside the boxes, and they often make the difference between life and a fiery death.

Chill Pot

SCORE AND COLLECTIBLES

Speedruns and online rankings will have a very important role in the game, in fact at the end of each level a summary screen is displayed in which the score obtained is calculated. This is mainly based on time spent and collectible found:

  • Research docs: They contain all the work done by Jack and they must absolutely be recovered.
  • Crystals: Their study is at the base of Jack's research.

FEEDBACK

The game is in development and we need your feedback
