Description

Satellite Command takes you into orbit around a stunning representation of our home planet, Earth. Take command of your own space agency, complete real contracts, research advanced technology and carefully manage your resources and reputation to learn more about the wonders of the Universe.

History

Satellite Command is the product of a software package we developed for Goonhilly Earth Station, a world renowned satellite communication centre known for receiving the first ever transatlantic signal.

We created a visual representation of Earth orbits to help young children learn about the complexities of space. The final model contained a powerful engine with modifiable orbits and satellites that users could control.

Once our time with Goonhilly ended we decided to use what we had learnt to form the basis of a new game called Satellite Command on Mobile. Once we released on Mobile, we turned our attention to a Steam version, applying via Steam Greenlight. Once Greenlit, we redesigned and overhauled Satellite Command to appeal to hardcore simulation fans.
