Sarcoex is Haunted is a free roaming physiological horror game in development by a small indie game development group, called Sarcoex Games. In Sarcoex is Haunted, you play as a character named Sarcoex Bloodrun. He suffers from anxiety and paranoia. In periods with high stress and high anxiety; he suffers with horrific hallucinations. Experience the horrors he suffers! Find out what horrors lurks within the mountains and his mind. Are the horrors real or just hallucinations?
About Sarcoex Bloodrun
My name is Sarcoex Bloodrun I am diagnosed with schizophrenia and suffers in periods with high anxiety. When I am stressed I can see and hear things which aren't normally there, it all seems real to me, but others around hasn't seen the horrors I have seen. I just want these “monsters” to go away. My therapist have suggested I take some time for myself, take walks in the mountains or just go on a vacation. I have decided to visit my fathers old work place, it is an abandoned research center in the mountains, I can't remember to name of the mountains, but I have visited the place many times. I know how to get there. I will go there at night, as no people is around at that time, and I can then just focus on relaxing.
Some say it's cursed, some say it's haunted.. I don't know..
The Mountains
The Mountains was Sarcoex's uncle's, Dr. Bloodrun, old workplace. Twenty years ago, his uncle mysteriously disappeared, Sarcoex was only five years old at the time. After Dr. Bloodrun's disappearance, the workplace was put under quarantine for ten years. After the quarantine was lifted, the old workplace was made open to the public. The Mountains was used a military biological research facility. The facility was known to the public, and rumors were spread that horrifying experiments were conducted. No one knows exactly what types of experiments, but some claims the scientists were trying to find an alternate food source. As of this day, no animals has been seen in the mountains. It flourished with animal life before the facility was established.
Hallucinations; real, surreal or just unreal?
Some claim that hallucinations is only a result of different universes connected by a wormhole, and that some particles go from a universe to a connected universe, and that these particles from an other universe, can form creatures that can interact with the different chemicals and electricity in the brain of some humans and animals. Those with such a brain, can see and interact with these creatures, and may get a better understanding of the universes and the multiverses. If those with such knowledge, unknown and surreal knowledge, try to claim that they got the knowledge by studying a creature that no one else can see; they are considered mentally ill. Some hear voices, some see things. Are they just something from another universe? Or even from another multiverse? Or are they just hallucinations and unreal?
