As contract galactic Salvagers for SalvaCo, an intergalactic mining corporation, you must swiftly gather as many of the resources SalvaCo requests as possible. The period to acquire the assets is short and competitive. Contractors for SalvaCo have been known to clash against each other and even fight for the bounty that is ripe for the picking in the zero gravity deep space salvage zones. The race is on to earn fortunes and glory amongst the infinite amounts of resource rich asteroids lining the galaxies.
They call us "Salvo's". It's slang but we don't mind. Seems we earned it. Whatever it takes ya know? What we do is legal. For the most part. I guess how we do it is what got us the name. That and our lack of allegiance to anyone or any company. I work for the highest pay. Nothing else. And we get the job done.
Technically we're Salvagers, we collect space debris and mine asteroids. Hell, we'll take whole asteroids if we think there's somethin' in 'em. Mostly we try to mine the good stuff out of 'em if we have time. That way our payload is worth more. More valuable payload, more money lining our pockets. But the Company or competing salvagers cut our work short most times and we head back to The Pumpkin riding light.
It's all about time and valuable payload…time and payload.
