History

RYB started as a study into Synesthesia, which "is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway." In this case, its was a relationship between colors and numbers. In the original version, which was actually a physical board game, there had many more colors and numbers and was so complicated that only I could play it.

After many iterations and play tests, I finally had the solid rules and style that made for a fun and engaging game for everyone who played it.

Since then, I have been slowly developing it using Unreal Engine 4 and recently got online multiplayer working thanks to GameSparks.
